Founded by Swedish artist and product developer Johan Bergelin in 2015, 19-69’s unique approach to perfume and fragrance has seen the brand establish itself as one of the most forward-thinking brands in the world of cosmetics.
A two-year creation process — including work with artisans in Denmark, France and Italy — culminated with the launch of five fragrances at Colette in 2017, with each scent inspired by a time, place or culture from around the world.
Bergelin’s background in art means that the brand is deeply rooted in creativity, something that is reflected in everything from the packaging, fragrance journey through to the perfumes themselves.
Each fragrance in the collection is gender-neutral, reinforcing the inclusive approach that 19-69 embodies, encouraging individuals to push boundaries and defy conventions.
